Top Routes from our Base

1. The Glencoe Orbital (The Heritage Loop)

Experience the best of the Glen without the stress of the main road. This loop is the perfect introduction to the area’s scenery and history.

  • NTS Visitor Centre: Stop in at the National Trust for Scotland’s award-winning centre to dive into the history of the Glen, grab a coffee, and explore the exhibits.

  • The Greenway: Ride through the NTS Greenway, a dedicated car-free path with the massive peaks of the Three Sisters towering above you.

  • The Clachaig Inn: At the top end of the Orbital, visit this world-famous Highland pub for a local brew or a hearty lunch.

  • The Old Road & Village: Wind back through the village, past the historic thatched cottages, and return to the loch.

2. The Lochan Trails (The Forest Add-on)

Want to go further? Add a loop of the Glencoe Lochan trails. These forest paths offer stunning mountain reflections on the water and a peaceful escape into the woods.

3. The Coastal Expedition (Caledonian Way)

For a longer adventure, head south on Route 78. This coastal path hugs the sea lochs and offers a true “West Coast” experience.

  • The Holly Tree (40 mins): A great destination for a loch-side coffee.

  • Castle Stalker (90 mins+): Take our high-range E-bikes all the way to this iconic 14th-century sea castle.
